In this lesson we will accomplish the following:

  • Step #1: Updating your Profile Background and Experience
  • Step #2: Updating your Profile Photos

For the best illustration of some of the most successful transporter profiles, check out this amazing blog article!

Step 1: Background & Experience

Click on settings / Profile on the left hand side and scroll down to the middle section

Create a compelling “Background & Experience” section for a CitizenShipper driver that includes:

Warm intro: Greet the reader, thank them for visiting the profile, and express enthusiasm for safe, caring, and reliable transport.

  • Driving & safety: State total years of accident-free driving, mention insurance coverage, and describe the vehicle (year, make, model, cargo space).
  • Pet transport approach: Note how many pets are transported at once, how they’re kept separated, and comfort measures (breaks every few hours, climate control, no stacking).
  • Service & guarantees: Highlight door-to-door pickup, live GPS tracking, signature capture, real-time updates, and direct routes for faster delivery.
  • Special care: Mention ability to manage medications, feeding schedules, or other specific needs.
  • Payment options: List accepted payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, credit card, cash, check).
  • Trust & CTA: Emphasize treating pets like family, invite questions, encourage early booking, and ask for budget and date flexibility to secure availability.
  • Format: Use short paragraphs or emoji bullet points for easy scanning.

Tone: Friendly, professional, and reassuring. Use short paragraphs or emoji bullet points for easy scanning.
